| Synopsis: | Naruto and Sasuke begin to look for Itachi, both for differing reasons. Sasuke does it for revenge while Naruto does it in the hopes of it eventually leading him back to Sasuke so he can try to bring him back to the Hidden Leaf. In the interim, the arc shifts to focus on Kakashi’s boyhood as a member of Team Minato, along with shining some light on his past teammates Obito and Rin. Later, Jiraiya investigates, and discovers, Pain’s real identity: Nagato. Unfortunately, this comes at a cost, which sets Naruto off to train harder than ever before. Lastly, Sasuke finally catches up to Itachi and battles him to enact his revenge. After the battle, however, Sasuke learns the hard truth behind his brother’s actions. |
